The LOOK!

The LOOK!

That hot afternoon, where it looked like all hell had indeed been let loose, the unfathomable origin of the road blocks; the type that seemingly looks as though would never get resolved while you are still in it! But woman got to stay on top of the game as the journey still ahead had only just begun! And so in the mdist of the profusion of sweat, in the bus; the uncomfortable seat, the jamming legs, the hugging side shoulders of a restless somebody who just wouldn’t let any sight around go by unattended to, the bus juggling, the waning yet alarming cry from that child; lawd: one wanting to take the mind off all of these would just about permit you to wonder off into the ‘lands’, but just a moment from that path, my eyes caught the almost-most dreadful sight one should ever have to encounter in such an already irritable course….

Across from me by the roadside, there was this fair pretty, decent-in-the-face middle-aged lady dragging behind her a lad.

I’m sure this wouldn’t strike as any news, yea? But hey, see closely these next few lines here…
odd
Imagine you strolling a busy public location with a friend who we can as well say to be “dressed’’ naked! Think that’s a use of opposite words? Well, what do you categorize someone who is actually putting on clothing that are vividly see-through? One who assures the next person of self-sanity by words but same person’s actions speaking differently?

So yes, this lady, in a see-through black leggings, with a black body-hug; cold-shoulder peplum top blazing it up with a slightly below-the-hip unbuttoned fainter black jacket which apparently was the only “real” clothing she had on and her justification that her butts weren’t out… Of what category would you address her as… and with a child!? Especially recalling you had earlier from her facial looks to have perceived her as “decent/clean/neat” without yet the whole body assessment.

Caught the flow of that ‘describe’? All of that, an extract from my looking which was to drift me off into the ‘lands’.

So you assess and take a feel at all of these, then as though it ain’t enough pain and hard names things as that have already given to the visuals of ladies in general. At work earlier today, same line of story was the “food for the day”. You imagine where people place the whole value of female gender’s “putting on of cloth” to the praise of the male gender. They tell you, the only reason your dressing or looks mean anything is because the guys see it. They feed off on the thought that ladies only look or try to look good to impress or call attention to the male folks. They tell you wearing anything pleasing, smart or good should be because you should know there would be an onlooker-guy. They say we ladies should only ever consider being presentable because they want an approach from the opposite sex. They bring arguments up on how the only true existence and relevance of a lady is because she should be “at-the-end-of-the-day” a ‘material’ the man can acquire, all of which must first have been an attraction from how they were able to present themselves in appearance. And I’m like… WAHT!!!{in U.S accent} #hehehe.

Your Appearance Speaks Miles Before You Get The Chance To Open Your Mouth!
LurpEe.

What do you show forth? What are you known with and for? How are you approached and addressed? What thought do people conceive of your worth and personality? How convincing is your look for that which you stand for?

We sometimes tend to forget the whole essence of modernization. We drift off into insanity with fashion as the motive by doing all of the harms and injustice to the Purpose of IMAGE. We lack-off the knowledge that we meet even the unexpected personalities who could be sent to lift us or those we ourselves might have been destined to pull through in the course of purpose fulfillment. We overlook what looking good and fantastic means to self; the joy of knowing peace and comfort in skin and clothing; the happiness of self worth, love and esteem. We hurriedly rush off the thoughts of how ladies meet ladies to showcase amazing gifts or how men meet with like minds that help push them to awareness. We seem to forget that much more than who is seeing us is the God watching us.

Or of what exactly we present to the public as our IDENTITY.

NB: I have been accused of lopsidedly directing and mostly favoring my posts to the female gender. As I’d say, I haven’t totally concluded on how… if I am a rigid feminist (#grinning) because I see this world and realize the female gender does need ‘more’ help… I’d only justify that there would be improvement on that feedback as I am stationed to helping each and every one of us. So please don’t crucify me as I can say that this post rightly affects the male gender too, I just didn’t paint a scenario in that light but would endeavor that both sexes take this into practice by devouring on this post as in their parts as the main subject. Thank You!

Relatable. There really is more to the female gender than being a “trophy” to the male folk

Oh yes ma’am, we seem to forget that its not all the time we can justify what we mistakenly allow people perceive. Thank you!
